JohnJug 0 #1 November 18, 2002 So I'm sitting here doing my wor... Uhhh... reading posts on DZ.com, and all of a sudden someone yells "Get Out! Get Out!" We're all like "what the hell is going on" so we all stand up to see. Turns out that some wiring had gotten crossed, or something, and the surge protectors in four cubicles had blown up. There was fear of a fire, so they were telling us to evacuate the building. Well, since there were no obvious flames or smoke, of course none of us actually started leaving. The fire never really started, just some melted wires and ruined surge protectors. I couldn't help but think, "Damn, if it had just been allowed to start a little bit, we would probably have gotten a few days off for them to do repairs, then it would be off to the dropzone." Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait for the weekend. You come from nothing. You go back to nothing. What have you lost? Nothing!

They had this big square container thing full of gas or something that they set on fire, and i had to put it out with an extinguisher....problem was i wanted to sit there and watch it burn. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! That's funny. They start the fire and you pull out a case of beer and say..."Bonfire at work....cool! Who wants a beer??"

AggieDave 6 #10 November 19, 2002 On another note, the propellent used in most cans of "air duster" is flamable, all you have to do is spray it at a flame with the can upside down.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
