Jimbo 0 #2 November 10, 2002 0:0:0 It's absolutely beautiful here and I'm stuck trying to get a $60,000 piece of software installed. One would think that $60,000 software would install the RIGHT way, the FIRST time. I've been dealing with this company's support group for 2 1/2 weeks now. The software MUST be installed by Monday. It's a good thing I'm not bitter about this. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Jimbo 0 #5 November 10, 2002 Quotetwo words mixed together can fix that problem: Shot-gun. "Here CEO... here CEO CEO CEO... *BANG!* " problem fixed. I wish. Anyhow, I've got the attention of a few of the higher-ups in the company. We'll talk about how they're going to compensate me when this is over, but all the compensation talk in the world doesn't get this fscking software installed. - Jim"Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. A fat 206 if you will With six of us in it, it was mad. No packup at all! Lolie 0 #13 November 10, 2002 Quoteit gets to be over 60 in chicago....and it gets cloudy. Yup, didn't even go to the dz this weekend... That makes 0:0:0 for me. It was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad weekend. I think I'll move to Florida. (btw- It wasn't really that bad of a weekend; does anyone know the book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day"?) -Miranda you shall above all things be glad and young / For if you're young, whatever life you wear it will become you;and if you are glad / whatever's living will yourself become. Skyrose7 0 #19 November 10, 2002 0:0:0 Well, I don't really know how to handle this. This is the first weekend sice april that I haven't been to the dropzone. Well, I did go there this weekend, just didn't jump. It was nice and warm, and they called me to say they were jumping, but by the time I got out there the winds kicked way up. Oh, I can't wait for Eloy. That will probably be the next jump I get! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP. Jumperpaula 0 #22 November 10, 2002 0:1:0 First jump in a month after three straight weekends of rain in Houston. Landed off in a plowed field which was rained on for 3 weeks, swam through a ditch, parahiked about 1/2 a mile in full gear and 10 pound weight vest. Got mud on my canopy- Para-hiking....two sports which should not be combined. My fault for jumping in 25 mph winds in the first place. Done- for the weekend at least. Skydive was great though....
