Hey, is that caravan a dog getting to altitude? Also have a metal pipe for the inside bar?

I've ridden on her in the summer and she was a dog, but I have to give leaway since the field elevation was over 6000ft and we were going to 17.5 (MSL).

Right now it's cooler and we are hauling ass to altitude, turnaround time is 18 min. 5400 field elevation to 17.5 (MSL)

It does have a bar inside the door, so you may have been in it. It has been on CO for quite awhile but the actual owner is Kapowsin (sp).
Fly it like you stole it!

WTF? Did he get shot in the ass with a BB gun too??;)

No not quite, but close. I landed in a cactus field during high winds and had to do a wind cutaway once I was one the ground, and I was impaled by hundreds of cactus needles. :S

But I'll be fine in a day or two. ;)

I didn't know she was referring to you as "sweetie". My bad. I think having me shoot you would've been less paiful than your cactus incident.

Wow, that really sucks, but it's kind of funny...
Hope you feel better soon.:)

When I was a kid, we all got waterskis for Christmas. Naturally, we wanted to try them out. Like when driving a new, more maneuverable canopy, you shoud be careful the first time out. My friend (major showoff) was telling us about his "beach landings". Start off and end in knee-deep water.

He was a little long on the landing, rolled into some cactus about 6 feet from the water.

As we pulled the stickers from his bod.
"Hey, that was cool." "Could you show us that again." "I didn't see it, could ya do it again?" B|

Those will hurt for a while. Sorry about the luck.

Yeah, I think she was owned by SkyDance (or maybe leased, I dunno) but we got rid of it early summer, right after the American Boogie (IIRC)
The thing I remember most about that plane was the stall alarm almost always going off (on takeoff no less )and taking forever n a day to get to altitude (compared to the other Caravan) OH, and the seatbelts being too short
I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. eat sushi, get smoochieTTK#1

4:2:0

Winds were to high to jump on Saturday, so I just stayed on the 4 wheeler picking up people who landed off! Sunday everyone bailed and went home because of clouds and winds, but they should have stayed, because the clouds left and the winds died down to nothing, and we made about 7 loads.
Got to jump with my best friends dad who flew in from Canada! Awesome freefly jumps! Can't wait til Wednesday so I can jump again!B|

Did one fun jump out of the Cessna 206 first thing in the morning with two skygods. Tracking dive with broken clouds at several different levels. Beautiful video.

We got crowded with unexpected tandems so I got three video jumps in. The first woman was screaming so loud you could hear her on freefall on the video:o! Man, that's screaming loud.

Got a very bad spot on the last video jump. When I film the opening I go from belly to sit, to back, and then I just backflip to belly and pull. Usually I'll stay in belly down for a bit to get to my pull altitude, but as soon as I saw that I was way the hell off I tossed, but there was no way I was making it back. So I land on the airport access road in front of this senior citizen couple in their towncar. With the stills camera on top and the mirrored goggles I don't mind them speeding away when I waved at themB|. I had to leave early to watch my girls do a ballet recital.

No jumps Sunday.

4 yellowtail snapper I caught on Sunday:5:0

The Keys Boogie was a blast. Weather was great through Saturday. The view in freefall is stunning! Sunday was low overcast all day, fortunately, we had planned on fishing that afternoon anyway; got rained on while fishing, but so what?

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

went to SDA to see scotty and tami WHO DECIDED TO GO TO THE KEYS BOOGIE and not tell me (bboooooooooo), the DZ was pretty busy with students and didn't have gear to rent out to galen so we went to the beach instead.

I was wondering where you were. I saw a Jav that looked kindof like yours, but it ended up being somebody elses. I would have let Galen jump my gear if I'd known.

Damn, proof that I am a bad influence, people don't even have to meet me before they start thinking like me... (psst, try Jet-A next time) :)

5 (days spent in Eloy): 37 (holy hell!): 1

Spent 5 days at Eloy, 4 of which were in the Airspeed skills camp knocking out 8 jumps a day...then spent Monday attempting to freefly :S. 37 jumps total. That makes just over 300 since Jan. 1st.

The beer is for my first time breaking 30 points on a 4-way (33 to be exact). It really helps to be jumping with Craig Girard and Kirk Verner, though. :$ What a rush! I was buzzing the whole way home!

Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!
