Skyrose7 0 #1 November 11, 2002 There has been a real tv marathon on all day. I knew I would find my fix somewhere. It always has a few skydiving clips in each --oh, there is one on right now!--episode. Just thought I would share. It is on TNN.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP. MaryRose

Ijust wish I got my demo canopy for this perfect weather. I'm planning on great pics for this Winter's jumps in the snow. Samurai136 0 #5 November 11, 2002 A week or so ago they aired one of the "Flying Elvis" hooking into the side of a car at a Demo. I especially like the Aussie CRW entanglement where the dude chops at 400' gets a fully inflated reseve and lands it. The pilot on the 4-stack appeared to snag the PC bridle when he released to go over the top. It got messy fast. freeflir29 0 #6 November 11, 2002 Saw one yesterday of a guy who said he had 3000 jumps. WTF he was thinking I don't know. He was filming a 3 way "Horny Gorilla." They started out on their belly and then brought the feet in. Of course the fall rate picked up dramatically. Genious goes OVER the formation in head down. All at once all three people lay back and throw their arms out. Of course the fall rate slows dramatically. Dude CLOCKS into the formation and gets his bell rung. He woke up and pulled his reserve when his ditter went off at 4000Ft. Then plowed into a field. Looked like he didn't even flare. Hit so hard it shut the camera off. I would think that someone with 3000 jumps would know better than to get DIRECTLY OVER a cluster formation like a Horny Gorilla. At least he lived. I've met a few people with over a 1000 jumps that don't know what the hell is going on. Said they were FFers or RWers, etc and sucked at everything they did. *shrug*--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Well at least they are consistantWhether it's out and about or at the WFFC, I met alot of people that freefly BECAUSE they sucked at RW and gave up. I guess they figiure that "if I can fly on my head that good enough...."oh crap, no I'm still workin' on it, can FF in a 4 way heads down...derrp.s. I'm working on one thing at a time, no claim to greatness in the sky/maybe "speed".
