And I also think that everything she mentioned is a product of one thing, skydiving. You made a jump, something you always wanted to do, you loved it, then everything else fell into place...drinking, piercing etc...

Midlife crisis at 30 ? Nope. I like to think of this age as still being young enough to do crazy shit, but old and wise enough to know better. These two balance themselves out perfectly to allow you to do the crazy shit as safely and sensibly as possible.

Tell her that you are just open-minded to new avenues of happiness and are trying out new things. If she can't understand that, it is because she stopped growing and enjoying life at some point. Also tell her that her butt's too big.

Personally I think you should do what ever you want at what ever age you want. Who gave anyone the power to say we should only do certain things at a certain age? If it's legal do it when ever you want to.
( that is if you are over 18 )
