kingbunky 3 #4 November 6, 2002 i guess the correct answer would be, the same as i do every day, you should always live like there's no tomorrow.... shit happens."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." TheBile 0 #5 November 6, 2002 I'd be investigating why there was not going to be a tomorrow and start developing a plan to prevent it from happening. That way I'd become a big hero, write books and shit on how I saved the universe and use that income to fund jumps for myself and all the folks here at DZ.com. Gerb I stir feelings in others they themselves don't understand. KA'CHOW !

megscott73 0 #7 November 6, 2002 I'd spend the day (and the rest of my money) skydiving and I'd spend the evening with my family. That would be a last day well spent. ======================= "What I want is what I've not got ,but what I need is all around me"-DMB Meghan
nacmacfeegle 0 #8 November 6, 2002 "what would you be doing today if you knew there wasn't a tomorrow?" Umm, the same thing I was doing yesterday?.....PS its already tomorrow in some parts of the world, so unless the world is about to end yesterday, there is no need to worry today....If you see what I mean. -------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. happythoughts 0 #10 November 6, 2002 Quote I'd spend the day (and the rest of my money) skydiving and I'd spend the evening with my family. That would be a last day well spent. When I see my family or friends, I tend to give them a hug when coming and going. I am not from a very "huggy" family. This is just something that I started doing a few years ago. I had some experiences where good things were left unsaid. Now I keep that up front so I have that closure. I would also spend my last day with my family. PLFXpert 0 #11 November 6, 2002 Actually, if you think about it...there is ALWAYS a tommorrow. For me, I don't worry about the "what-ifs" as in, "OMG, what if the world ends tomorrow?" That type of stuff is silly to me. I always live life as if there WILL be a tomorrow.Call me the black sheep of the forum
WFFC 1 #12 November 6, 2002 Well, I think the question should be "Is there really a tomorrow?". Let's look at the possibilities. We could all agree that yesterday was the day prior to the one we're currently working with and "the other day" used to be a yesterday at some point. Tomorrow, by defination is Today + one. At 12:00A.M. Tomorrow arrives... Or does it??? 12:00A.M. still is today and Tomorrow arrives, in theory, again at 12:00A.M. or maybe it was yearning to arrive and really didn't (doesn't?). Ouch...too much brain power on this one. If tomorrow really does arrive at some point, let me know so I'll know to be good. ----- ~~~Michael

skyboyblue 0 #20 November 6, 2002 *** I always live life as if there WILL be a tomorrow.I use that line when the conditions are questionable for jumping..Like, you can always jump another day if its doesn't feel right today.. but does that mean you put off what you could do today for tomorrow all the time? I pay my bills that way or do the dishes, sometimes.
