Sebazz1 2 #76 November 4, 2002 0 : 9 : 0 Our King air was down for general maintanance so we were sharing Monterey's Otter. The otter is such a beautiful jump ship. I did some work, some play, and some drinking. All pretty tame. It was a beautiful weekend. Epic sunsets, light winds, and good vibes... That's pretty much why I do this stuff... Deuce 1 #77 November 4, 2002 Yeah, Seb, beautiful weather. Probably the last great weekend with rain on the sched for next week. Jumped Saturday, had to work Sunday (work-work, not DZ work) Took some time to do a coach jump (freebie) with a guy with 30 jumps. I have to commit to doing that every weekend. Great feeling, gave the guy the video, he left highly motivated. We had THREE CHOPS, Connie had the last one, Seb. All sport rigs, no tandems. All landed fine. It has been ages since we even had one. I was in formation with the guy who had the second one and followed his main down and collected it for him. I kinda like landing out. That guy had brought beer for his first jump on his new rig, and then chopped on his second jump. Har! Serious flagrant beer violator!
weid14 0 #78 November 4, 2002 Quote Quote I can't remember the formation, but I'm sure I was part of the base with Gary and Solly turning points till everyone else got there , that's fun to do. Yeah, I was on that one, I was diving to the formation and saw Gary doing his 720 or whatever it was and then I docked on him. You guys did a bipole and since I know Gary and Solly, you must have been one of the outfacing guys, probably on the side opposite me. Anyway, I overamped a little so I docked harder than normal. We got that point and the next two as I recall. Failed to get the BAR at the end, but just by seconds. It was a great time. Oh yeah, I was wearing the really butch-looking lavender bandana. That's correct, Russ was on one side and I the other. We did 540's , you must have docked on Russ's side of the formation, I have a Black and charcoal mirage, the canopy is a white Velocity with a Lemon end cell and lemon x-braces. Zippy little thing

Great feeling, gave the guy the video, he left highly motivated. From all newbies, Thank You! I've had two coach jumps with bonus video (read free) one of the whole jump, another of the exit, and it is fabulous to see oneself at that stage. I learned tonnes more from watching the jump, than the jump itself - fixed my door dive once I saw for myself what I was doing wrong. Wish I could get more, but there are only two jumpers who do video at the local dz. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A.
