It seemed like a good idea at the time...

Recommended Posts

Have you ever had an idea that seemed like a good idea when you thought of it, but then later seriously regretted it?

I've had one of those Wizard scented oil things that has been empty for months (ya know, all my money goes to skydiving) and I have a bottle of Jet-A that's been laying around the apartment for awhile, so I put 2 and 2 together.... :)

Geez, I'd hate to know what ELSE you have "laying around" in your apartment! :o

Well, luckily, I've got a fire extinguisher right outside the front door, just in case... :)

And it's plugged in close to the door, so it'll be close to the extinguisher, right?

That's eery, how did you know that? Shit, now not only is the chick from my leasing office stalking me, but I've got my own DZ.com stalker... :)

See you now have no excuse, you realized that maybe it wasn't the brightest idea before you started, you really should have waited until something cool happened before saying, "It seemed like a good......":P

Okay, this is not as serious as your idea, but now I'm in my office and have drunk a lot of wine and I know that tomorrow I regret all this.
Have to say, my shift have stopped four hours ago. But I'm still here and holy fu..in' god, I'm drunk.;)

Eh nothing new really, after I posted this I got some PM's that were concerned about explosions and fires and stuff, so I did the smart thing and moved my gear bag and camera helmet into a different room to protect them, just in case.

It wasn't giving me that "first load of the day" runup smell that I like from the otter, so I got a turbocharger from an old Conquest TSi and made it into a small jet engine. I thought it was a bit senseless to have the jet engine just making noise and the smell, so I made it practical by adapting a 44oz blender to it, there's nothing like a Turbine-made margarita to finish off a long day. Works much better than the plug in, but the neighbors give me wierd looks, and 3 have moved out in the past week. Odd stuff...

At least your priorities are still in place.
