Skyrad 0 #1 October 28, 2002 So after reading the post about what to do with the ring after divorce it struck me just how many divorcees there are here. I've noticed that on the DZ's as well. My question to you is are you divorced and if so did you start Skydiving after your marriage ended or before? Me, Yes & Yes. Slappie 9 #13 October 28, 2002 Quote Only in your head. Which one? Are you serious? Is there a doctor I can see or a pill I can take? Seriously I've had a woman tell me she wouldn't date me because I was 35 an never married.. She told me there had to be something wrong with me. She felt that if I hadn't been snagged yet I either had issues to tough for any woman to deal with or I was gay.. I kinda lean towards the issues... The real reason is I haven't found anyone I want to spend the rest of my life with. Nothing more.. no issues not gay.. I just haven't found her.. I've spent some time in relationships.. Like now I'm happy with "bubbles" aka: Shawn.. But, I'm not looking to marry her an have children.. One day who knows it might happen I doubt it though... wmw999 2,534 #16 October 28, 2002 I'm divorced. I started skydiving long before I got married to another skydiver, and quit before I got divorced (14 years later). Started again after that, but mostly unrelated to, the big D. The only thing that makes me consider getting married again is seeing how lonely so many older people are. weegegirl 2 #23 October 28, 2002 25 - Not married. But shortly after I started skydiving, I broke off a two-year-relationship with my first true love cuz he couldn't deal with me being at the dropzone 24/7 and only talking about skydiving and skydivers. From now on - I'll never date another whuffo - ever.
