Star Crest Receipiant means you free flew (no grips on exit) and were in an 8 way or more. It used to be a star formation and I don't know if that has changed to any formation or not. SCS is star crest solo, meaning you entered that 8 way 8th or later (if there is more people). Mine is 2000 something. I got it on my 27th jump Get them and send them in. They are switching to something else an it's not going to be the same. Sorry to see such a proud tradition go away. We'll just have to start a new one!!!! PartAy!! And the requirments to get a falcon or an eagle will be increased to what it is now to get the double version. This is USPA related. The SCR and SCS are not USPA related. I haven't seen anything about them changing. I sure hope not! And how does one apply for the award?
 wmw999 2,532 #16 October 30, 2002 The SCR is the original, one-and-only choice of champions the world over. Actually, it's a holdover from when actually touching other people in freefall and then separating safely was a pretty good accomplishment. Also having 7 friends who are willing to jump with you, or 7 people who are desperate enough for beer. It's maybe 15-18 years older than the Eagle (which requires sequential), and sponsored by a different organization. As far as how to get one, back up a little on the website: http://www.afn.org/skydive/rw/bbmsc/ Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it.
