Bad taste man. If you don't have a link to post. You probably shouldn't post at all.

That's be like me starting a post that says; "Heard the space station fell out of the sky. Well, talk to you later. :)

saw it on my bloomberg - fox news broke the story - no details yet.

Highway I 270

A fedEx Corp truck traveling on interstate 270 in Missouri exploded after hitting a traffic pole. No one was injured. The trucks fuel tank reptured and exploded after it swerved to avoid hitting a car and slammed intoa pole.
Reported on Bloomberg

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — A Federal Express truck has exploded along I-270 in St. Louis, near the Illinois state line.

Debris is strewn all over the road, and the highway has been closed.

The cab of the 18-wheel truck appears to be undamaged, leading authorities to believe that a combustible package may have exploded inside the trailer.

Federal Express spokeswoman Sandra Munoz said both drivers on the truck were OK and no one else was injured.

sounds like the best case scenario to me...wonder what it was?

Wow how the forum 'etiquette' has changed over the last couple years. We're going to have to make a new list for all the new rules!

they came back with an update that it was the result of a fuel tank exploding on the truck.

Scratching head.... wondering how many other oversized, diesel powered vehicles have 'exploded' when a fuel tank ruptured.... not to mention leaving the cab perfectly intact, and the trailer looks like it's cut in half.
Where's Chile? Chile - tell the fine folks where those fuel tanks sit on that big rig of yours....
it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
