Levin 0 #4 October 30, 2002 Quote Too bad for you Levin the entire event is head up flying Quote actually belive it or not but i can sit now. in 11 jumps i went from barely bein able to hold it to being able to dive to a group in stand. i can maintain levels pretty good. my proximity is still limited to the general vicinity. can't maintain my slot cuz i have a natural tendency to backslide so i have to concentrate on countering it which results in a constant movement usually going forward. not sure i could hold a stable sit yet if someone came up and shook me. my goal is to have it down pretty good by the end of the year but it's kinda hard since i don't get many chances to go out and practice it. levin vSCR#
AggieDave 6 #5 October 30, 2002 You and me need to talk, then, although if they're running the FF event like I heard it was run last year, it'll be fucking worthless, ruining the rest of the time there. As of right now, I'm only competing in sport accuracy and beer drinking and I want to compete in FF, it should be a blast.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." PhreeZone 20 #6 October 30, 2002 >fucking worthless, ruining the rest of the time there. Could'nt have said it better myself... why do you thing I pulled out of the comp and fun jumped my ass off under the nice FL weather? The rules were declared 6 weeks before then changed as you regestered, the video judging was bad since they did'nt have enough skilled freefly videopeople to stay with slidding low timers. There were more teams then expected and the video people could'nt keep up with the pace of jumping/packing/dubing all day it seemed. There was one jump that some one was given points for a dock when they were not within 5 feet of each other, but since the video angle made it look that way... One note... Lake Wales was grabing anyone that could video for slot to video the RW teams to make it go faster last year so if you or anyone going has a camera suit and wants to possibly have free jumps (if SDA does'nt have a staff only video thing) then take it and the stuff to film RW with. I imagine there will be enough freefly talent to film with... but ask and see.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

AggieDave 6 #8 October 30, 2002 Levin, right on dude, right on. You know, if Pop doesn't take the 3rd spot in my truck, I've got an open slot. You can split the gas with Pablo and I.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
