They a 9 cell hybrid ( ZP topskin f-111 type ribs and bottomskin) with extra reinforcing and Dacron lines to stand up to hard use. They are the only canopy PD markets as "student". alexey 6 #6 October 2, 2020 Navigator calls Student when ordered as per their "Student program". You can have it with additional discount, if you can live with stock (sil\wht\org) pattern. My home club switched to PD Students a while ago, and we had free choice of the colour of one end cell, but otherwise it is a lot of in-your-face orange... And to the best of my knowledge, they are functionally identical to Navigators. Which is a good thing, since they are nice docile forgiving canopies with excellent student handling characteristics.
