homer 0 #1 October 22, 2002 Every week there is always a post for jump numbers. Well not this one. This is for those of us who had to miss a weekend full of jumping for some other reasons. I did have lots of alcohol though so it wasn't a total waist. So what is your reason for not jumping. Mine was I had army reserve drill as well as the next two weekends. That means no jumping for another 3 weeks. My unit is being looked at for possible deployment so I spent my weekend doing paper work along with my will, living will, and power of attorney. I did have the new Para- Gear catalog to keep my spirits up. CSA #699 Muff #3804

Push 0 #13 October 22, 2002 Windy and cloudy. If you get clouds, you get no wind. Then wind comes, chases clouds away, but stays at 25mph gusty. A dude on an EXTreme-VX barely had any penetration at all, and that was in the morning before wind got this strong, much less our student 292 Mantas. If the weather stays this way I probably won't get off student status before the season ends -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.

quatorze 1 #16 October 23, 2002 I am staying on the ground this coming weekend, the past month has been chock full of jumping, boogies, 115 tandems in 2 days at home DZ etc, etc, this weekend is for me to hang out at my house on the lake that I say I live at but I swear I never see it. I'm not afriad of dying, I'm afraid of never really living- Erin Engle
