Not me. 0:0:0 Couldn't get a ride to the DZ, so stayed in my room and slept the weekend away... and got a little homework done... Yee-haw. (Can't complain a lot though. nws01 0 #7 October 20, 2002 0:0:0 Cloud coverage yesterday and frickin 30 mile an hour wind gusts today. A guy at the DZ brought his big dog with him. She was in heat and he said he wanted to breed her. I told him that I would take her home with me for a week and bring her back next weekend. Everyone laughed. This DZ.com sex with animals thing makes everyone laugh. I was just joking with them though. I really don't want to hump the dog.

mouth 0 #9 October 20, 2002 0:5:1 5 wonderful jumps. A two way with a recurrent guy who rocked, a 3 way with two other guys who were new to the area, a 4 way, and 8 way and another sunset/dark 4 way. The moon was out as the sun was setting on the last jump so the scenery was cosmic. It was so nice to get out in the air again after being ground bound for so long. (1 jump since first of July.) I hadn't forgotten everything thankfully. I guess I owe beer for buying a new-to-me jumpsuit. Unlike so many yesterday I landed on the DZ every jump so no beer owed for out landing or for landing on the asphalt. Life is good. 66 days to Eloy. Wahoo!!!!!!! flyhi 24 #10 October 20, 2002 13:14:1 13 = Number of times I jumped with a fullface, hard shell helmet this weekend and lifetime Never trust anyone at a Boogie who says they have 300 jumps and wants to be a diver. Convinced me to switch helmets. Beer is for first jump in that helmet. Casa at Palatka for the Hog Flop Boogie. Did not do so well on the Hog Flop (they had to time my team with a calendar. Videographer had to switch tapes mid-jump it was taking so long.), but a great weekend. Best jump was a 3.5 point 16-way. Really close on that last point. Wished you all could have been there. Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.
jceman 1 #11 October 20, 2002 64Gazillion,487,513 bikes at Biketoberfest:2:0 I hope the bikers all appreciated the gorgeous weather we brought in for them! Did get to meet Derekbox yesterday and spent a couple minutes saying "Hey" to Omar who was making his pre-second Birdman jumps. I think he is addicted! Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

Jessica 0 #15 October 20, 2002 Quote Who needs sex when you can set records! But I didn't set any records this week. The real pisser is that when I work up, it was cloudy, and I called the dropzone and they said to leave them alone, so I went back to bed...but then when I woke up again it was the most beautiful day in the history of the universe. Also I have a new main that I haven't even gotten to jump yet. At least I made some cool jumps last weekend, though.... *staring slack-jawed at photos (by Bobo™) from last weekend*Skydiving is for cool people only

Michele 1 #18 October 20, 2002 1:0:0 (Edit: Fine...How's this? One Afternoon Spent with My Father doing a charity appearance....) Spent the afternoon with my father doing a charity appearance with Olive Crest, which works with foster and adopted children and their families. It was a Bike for Olive Crest, and Dad got to ride on a Harley for the first time. Even though it went all of 4 mph, and the driver was "walking" it, Dad was holding on ("clutching" was the term I thought of first) and looked like he was scared to death....it occurred to me at that point that there is no hope whatsoever that my Dad will ever do a tandem.... Even though it wasn't jumping, it was wonderful to spend time with Dad, and do something for others at the same time. His family is huge, so it was a little overwhelming, and they weren't even all there! 0- Ok, I am feeling much better, but still on narcotics for pain, so no jumps for me. PhreeZone 20 #23 October 21, 2002 1 new to me canopy:4:1 Behold... the power of the Jedei! I snagged a used Jedei that I'm playing with right now. Interesting canopy, I'm still not sure if I'll keep it more then 100-150 jumps, but its a trip to fly. I'm not likeing the riser pressure at all but its still fun. Started out with a tracking dive that I lead and broke at 8k so Craig and I could pull high at 6k to learn our new canopies (He got a Cobalt 135 that I want too), filmed a skysurfer and landed off on the second jump on the canopy, another tracking dive today then a pull at 7k when its WAY too cold to do that any more. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
Lindsey 0 #24 October 21, 2002 0:0:0 lol.... I have taken up tennis again. Traded my fx for a stiletto, which is "in the mail." We'll see how that works out. White with blue....I want to say crossbraces, but I guess they're just, what...ribs? Maybe I won't be so scared next time I get to jump....lol. I never learned how to fly that fx properly anyway, despite the fun I had zippin around the clouds under it. I'm drinkin' and posting because I'm on fall break. No pathology/microbiology/medical genetics/icm/medical ethics for a week!!!!!! My "husband's" mom died yesterday, though, so we're all in death mode here. She was super sweet....don't know how my old man came from her line, cause she was the sweetest woman known to humankind. Breast cancer. Thanks to all of y'all who jumped for the cause and contributed. In my inebriated state tonight I made a nifty h'or douvre. Stuffed the jalapenos with cream cheese and wrapped them in bacon.....and FRIED it. YUM!!!! Anyway....Lisa...I loved reading about your record. Congrats, chica! Oh....btw Jack....I actually have the shirts ready to dye tomorrow. I didn't forget.....lol Peace~ Lindsey-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged.
