quatorze 1 #82 October 22, 2002 what a weekend!!!!!! 43:2:2 WOW!! 43 tandems in 8 loads from 3:40 pm to 6:45pm on Sunday since FrankenOtter blew out a main tire and we were stuck on a maintenance hold for 3 and a half hours, but we still managed to get all 115 tandems that came out done. 2, jumps, one being my fiance's first tandem that I got to lurk ...... YAHOO!!. 2 cases for my first CReW, and my first off landing... but my first off landing was done with style. 8 miles away from the DZ... landed in some one's back yard and the conversaition while on the phone with the home DZ went something like this... " Hey man, we're all OK, can we get a lift?" "Yeah man, where are you guys?" Look at the lady whose house we landed behind, "Ma'am, where are we?" " You're on West Main St." " Oh, Ok, bit what city?" " Uh... Harleyvillle." By the way, we skydive in St. George, not Harleyville. Had a belly-mount camera, and one on my head. Both are just fine, though. Oh, yea - they were from a bridge. The laws of physics are strictly enforced. I usually work Thursday through Tuesday, with the occasional weekend day to run down to the dz and play (granted, I don't usually get there during the week either, it's just easier than the weekend).
