There was a thread awhile back about a big guy who wanted to jump and some DZ out west modified a tandem rig for him. Also I saw some stuff about tandem manufactures converting or special orders for big guys...
Do a search...

If I remember correctly there was a thread in the Safety and Training forum about a BIG guy wanting to do a skydive and he did finally.....so do a search for it.

Our DZ (Deland) has safely sent several big boys through AFF on converted tandem rigs... It was funny seeing Vladi (one of the biggestest AFF JMs) doing the jump without a suit wearing weights....

I also know RWS will also make rigs esp for the big boys.

I'm 6'2" and 290lbs...so far, no problems. Except for the fact that this sport seems to have an over-abundance of floaters!!! ;)

Deland, (already said) has a program for big skydivers. They have Tandem rigs modefied for 1 jumper to do Aff, and the jumpmasters have lots of experience at it also. If you can make the trip its worth it. Have fun

I signed up for AFF right away, requiring a static-line to break the ol' hymen. I have to give credit to an incredible staff of instructors: Jason Bradley, Kirk Yerkes (Spelling?), Jon Stewart, Steve Alexander and Don Brewer. I would have a difficult time believing that you could improve on this group!
