If so, I was on it, but I remember it being closer to 17k. That is the jump that I always remember as being my highest. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! sunshine 2 #30 October 17, 2002 QuoteSo Sunshine....what did you , uh...do to get the extra altitude????? ----------------------------------------------------------- Probably most things. She's very good at that. Hate to spoil your fantasy but i was just sitting in the otter. It kept climbing and climbing until we hit jumprun. For once i'm totally innocent. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
dove 0 #31 October 17, 2002 23K for me. Liz, they do them like twice a year at Zhills but usually get from 21K-23K. For the really high jumps you can check out Skydance Skydiving in California. I think they do them quite often. It was fun to do - but I'd rather make 2 shorter skydives! But definitely something cool to experience. Fall in dove. brianthomas1966 0 #35 October 17, 2002 Probably like many others 22K Mike Mullin's Super King Air WFFC '02 Rantoul, IL (Probably not like others) It was about my 65th jump. I was the lowest timer in the organizer tent, I think! Brian
weegegirl 2 #36 October 17, 2002 Don't they do them at Rantoul too? If they do, I'm all about that this summer.
freeflir29 0 #37 October 17, 2002 QuoteDon't they do them at Rantoul too? About 23K is all you'll get there. You have to go out to Cali to go higher. More like 30-40K out there.
dove 0 #38 October 17, 2002 It's not the longer plane ride I mind. But it's a lot of work for the extra flying time and it's not like you're gonna get way fancy with the dive when you are low on oxygen for the first minute. Don't get me wrong - it was fun and neat. But I'd rather save all the prep time and make 2 quick fun jumps. But that's just me. Fall in dove.

wmw999 2,447 #42 October 18, 2002 I think the answer for some might be "I don't remember; I was high" Wendy W. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. lummy 4 #43 October 18, 2002 yeah, it is SkyDance. They do 20k runs every Thursday and 30k runs about weekend every 2 or 3 months... phatcat 0 #47 October 18, 2002 Quote just wondering how high you have jumped. Well I don't jump very often at my age, but I'd say a couple of feet I suppose. If I had a running start I could probably jump up three feet.
JamesNahikian 0 #48 October 18, 2002 23,500 for me, at Hinckley. Three others from 22,000 to 23,500. Nice view but probably not worth the risk or money. D. James Nahikian CHICAGO
SkymonkeyONE 4 #49 October 18, 2002 36k, night, combat equipment, 02, level I train-up. Salerno DZ. It was fucking COLD. At that altitude, the positive pressure from your twin 53's just blows all out around your nose and under your goggles. It's fairly hard to exhale.
