Finally, Pics of my new canopy...

Recommended Posts

After having my canopy for about 4 weeks now, I finally have some pics to post, since Kevin (kbell) was cool enough to take a couple shots of me landing.

Once I can get the pics from Kathy (QueenBee), I'll post the pics of all my new gear. :)
I think I'm one of the only people in the US to have qualified for his D license before he owned his first rig...:o

you would have had your cowboy hat on

I keep meaning to do a hop-n-pop with one so I can wear it while landing for a good picture (I'd need to tie it down, so it'd stay on, though)...B|

I'm loving the canopy, although I only have about 20 jumps on it, for a couple weekends, I haven't been able to jump as much as I had wanted too. Thanks for the tip about upsizing the slider, my openings are some of the sweetest.

That'd be cool, although I've got a huge Jazz gig on that Saturday and I may be leaving town after that...so that weekend is all up in the air, I'll let you know if I'll be there (as if that'd make a difference or not for you coming down to Aggieland, hahaha).

Hey, saw your pic in Parachutist...B|

Careful with that, man. I know it'll only be a hop and pop but with the surface area of the hat you might end up like that pink flamingo. ;)
Cool canopy colors. Reminds me of a barbecue-griddled Kermit. :)

sschweeet lookin' canopy Dave.

No more raggy old 'freefly friendly' rigs [:/] and flareless F111 skytrucks for you....B|

One thing though, remember what the nice man from Generation Freefly told you about hats.....
Don't wanna hear about..B|...old friend.

It is very compariable to a Stilletto, although it has a longer control range, its not as twitchy. It has a longer recovery arc too, but beyond that, its very similar.

I got it from Rig & Things Paraservice.
