skybytch 273 #52 October 7, 2002 The meanie greenie is here. Marc, that could very easily have been taken as an attack, as moody is the only Amber who actively posts here. Anyone assuming you were talking about her is not attacking your integrity. It was not made clear "Amber who?" So now let's all get over it and get back to what's important - how many times did you get jumped, how many times did you jump, and how much beer do you owe... Snowbird 0 #62 October 7, 2002 Quote It's great having seven days a week to jump and live in a state with 14 DZs Yes, that is a cruel, cruel thing to say.1:5:1 1 packing endorsement. Seems like just yesterday I was so nervous about packing my own main! 5 jumps, ending with a kick butt coach2 jump. I'm almost ready to go for my 'A'.1 case for the packing endorsement, combined with finally having my own jumpsuit. What a difference it makes. Either I've finally figured out how to track, or the suit made a lot of difference, cause wow do I move now! Wahoo! Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. Heinlein
Scoby 0 #63 October 7, 2002 3:3:3 I went to a new dropzone, Elsinore. I had a really great time. I think I'll be switching up between Perris and Elsinore for a while. I went down a size in canopies, to a Spectre 170. It was awesome, definitely my last downsize for a long, long time. It's time to buy a rig finally. I also got into a stand for the first time. It was a really good day.

robzay 0 #66 October 7, 2002 5:1:0 One hybrid jump, two way, on my belly with a sit. I went without a suit and his was bagyy, actually went low and couldn't get back to him. Five organized loads from three to seven way. Not bad made points on all, but one. Working on not going low, actually floated one formation.
pd190 0 #67 October 7, 2002 5:7:1 5- times back and forth from home to the dz for a retirement party. (2 hr drive) 7- jumps 6 on Saturday, did one vid for tandem and fun jumps the rest. 1 on Sunday morning, the clouds and wind starting picking up. 1 - Case of beer owed. I spent the week designing and building a 18ft tube for the weekend festivities. Had a guy jump it on Friday afternoon and had it video'd so I could check it out. It worked great!!! The guys loved it. Now I have to build some more of them for the other guys. (What did I just get myself into?)
freeflir29 0 #68 October 7, 2002 1(# of times I came pretty close to hooking myself into the ground ):6:0 Pretty nice weekend at the Atlanta Free Flight Festival. Got in 6 Casa jumps. All of them were Free Flying. I have no idea why but I was flying like shit on Saturday. Finally calmed down and relaxed for Sunday. Almost hooked myself right into the ground Sunday afternoon. Still not totally sure what happened but I think I caught some weird thermals off the pond in the middle of my hook. Lost about 15 feet in a millisecond and was sorta low when I started. Not fun..... Anyway...got over that and went back up on the Just after sunset load. I think it was a 9 way BFR sit dive. Organized by Mike Ortiz. Had to get out at 11,000Ft because there was a HUGE thunderstorm just NW of the airport and it was getting rather dark. I don't think the pilot gave much of a cut. Never really got a big campfire going with the reduced alti but that does mark the first time I have seen lightning in Free fall. Looked very cool!!! Fun weekend.....I'm tired and sore....
