yazimoose 0 #1 May 7, 2013 Hey guys, I'm looking at getting myself a jumpsuit as some of our student ones are...a little smelly and not exactly the greatest fit (i'm quite skinny but rather tall so what fits in the waist doesn't fit my arm or leg length) I'm sifting through a few websites and im getting confused with types of material and what would be best (Nylon, Polycotton, Supplex, Spandex) Also what are the advantages and disadvantages of having booties on your jumpsuit for relative work? I have a medium fall rate and want to know what suits have worked for everyone else. Mainly looking for a relative jumpsuit at the moment as i'm just starting my Brels any help I could get is much appreciated -YizPeople used to tell me the sky's the limit...Now it's my point of view. billeisele 130 #4 May 7, 2013 most important is the colors, everything needs to match, ask your instructors, they can give you the best advice, then the manufacturers web site will do the rest my best guess would be spandex lower arms and nylon everywhere elseGive one city to the thugs so they can all live together. JeffCa 0 #5 May 7, 2013 I just called Bev at Bev Suits a few days ago, and she walked me through the materials and gave recommendations about options. Then my instructors refined the options and placed my order. It will be my first suit, so I was totally clueless. ChrisHoward 8 #6 May 7, 2013 billeisele my best guess would be spandex lower arms and nylon everywhere else +1 At 60kg I would suspect that your average fall rate isn't so average, more likely slower than average. Booties should be standard on a Rel suit in my opinion. Call Airsuits or Spirit Sky Sports. They are local and will be able to answer your questions. Edit to Add: The nylon front will make it easier to maintain a faster fall rate so that you won't need to work as hard to stay with 90kg guys. Also, very few people on here will have any clue what B-Rels are
