How do I change my picture?

Recommended Posts

Since I don't know what exactly everyone else is or isn't doing let me ask you to help me from the start. I have a pic on my computer and want to post it so it shows under my name here in the forums. What URL do I have to enter to load it? If I have to post the pic on a site to get a URL where can I post it? I don't think my web page will let DZ.com access it.
Idiocy = Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

1. In your browser, right-click on the picture you want to use in your profile.
2. Select "properties".
3. Select the text behind "Address (URL)"...so the complete line behind it is selected *blue*.
4. Press CTRL-C.
5. Go to your profile at DZ.com.
6. Go to the textfield where you have to enter a picture-URL.
7. Press CTRL-V.
8. Done...enjoy. By the way: your web page will let DZ.com access it, I'm sure.

Or you can just email me the picture and I'll crop it down for you and host it on my server.

Instead of trying to make dropzone.com point to some other site, why don't you download the pic to your harddrive and load it from there.

Case of cyber beer that works. (Or will at least tell you if the size is off...)

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

Man that is wierd! Must be M$ for you.. i tried it with opera and it shows the picture, remote desktoped into my XP machine at home and I can see the picture.. but using the IE I uploaded it with it shows up as a broken link.. oh well, maybe a cache issue.

Thanks for your help!
