denver to steamboat

Recommended Posts

I flew out there in April to ski from Atlanta. Everyone else was crying about prices direct to Steamboat and wanted a shuttle for $100+++.
I did more research and found cheap tix direct into Steamboat. They key is flying at the right time (day of week) and airline (United/delta/UsAir). The resorts out west subsidize flights by the airlines to bring in guest. Try looking on the Steamboat website they actually post a tentative "schedule" of flights. Just keep checkin prices on the web and don't buy too EARLY, usually fares wil remian low as late as 2-3 weeks before departure time.

Speaking of CO. Anyone know of someone I can stay with in Aspen? It would be for 15 days next spring. Not sure of dates but I think it's in April. I probably wouldn't even be there but a few hours a night to sleep and that would only be for like 10 of those days. I need an alternative to the $600 and some dollar hotel bill. [:/]
