Stacy 0 #1 September 29, 2002 went to SD America this afternoon due to long waits for loads at my home DZ. i walked in teh door at 3:30 PM and before I could even write my name on the waiver Scotty was grabbing me for some fiasco dive . something involving me getting taken out twice and wearing what was referred to as the "dick hat." huh. people there made me feel totally at home and didn't let me breathe after arriving. had a few beers with tami, scotty cooked up a sweet dinner, and met some awesome people. The first time I went there they grabbed me at the door and told me that I was going to be part of the base of a six way 3-D. I said I had never done any thing other than 2-ways and Larry and Scotty looked at me like "so what's your point" at which time they said you go here, your the front float. You almost can't jump by yourself as they will even grab you on the way up and put something together. I asked Tami a question about RW and she said get your gear and took me on a jump to help me out. I've learned more in a month than in the last six months. And then there is the original reason that I went there, the "Carbonezone Cutaway Cafe" where the food is second to none. (Remember Rantol). If you want to suck the marrow of life out of every minute, then come on down the Skydive America Palm Beach, if not stay home and out of our way !!! We were trying to do a 3-d dive a couple of weeks ago, but it turned into a 5-d dive when they stuck me and him on our bellies. Damn that got ugly..
