VegasBrad 0 #1 May 17, 2013 I searched for an answer but came up empty. The pads inside my G2 have gotten gross and sweaty but are not removable to be washed. Anyone have any ideas on how to clean them thoroughly without damaging the helmet or glue that holds them in place?Brad Hess Manager Vegas Indoor Skydiving
hookitt 1 #2 May 18, 2013 I just wash the entire thing. Dunk it in a sink, or shower, and clean it with the soap you prefer. Wash it and rinse it thoroughly, mash as much water out of it as you can with a towel, then hang it up. As the water pools inside the helmet, mash that part again to soak up more water, then turn the helmet on the hangarl. If you can point a fan into it, that helps immensely. Good luck.My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
RyanFYF 0 #3 May 22, 2013 it works great too. I even pop the visor off so I can dry it out faster. still looks good as new and once dry, I always store it with a dryer sheet in there to keep it fresh
VegasBrad 0 #4 May 23, 2013 Thanks guys, I was a little apprehensive about just washing it with them in place, but I'll give it a shot now.Brad Hess Manager Vegas Indoor Skydiving
RyanFYF 0 #5 May 23, 2013 The biggest part is to keep blotting it with a towel as you air dry it. You want that bad boy to be 100% dry after washing. I put mine in the sunlight but inside. If you air it out outside, it could end up stinking like the great outdoors forever. Especially here in FL where the humidity is so high
