jraf 0 #1 September 9, 2002 I just made dinner and it is great. Chopped up a whole bunch of string beans, broccoli, zuccini, red and orange peppers, brussel sprouts and this South American veggie I don't even know but it smells good. All that makes a very colorful composition. Chopped up a whole bunch of fresh ginger and garlic. Smashed a whole bunch of unsalted peanuts Mixed the ginger, peanuts and garlic with coconut milk making a paste. Sauted the vegies a bit in a pan Added the paste and simmered in pan for 10 minutes It is real good, who want's some. And by the way what do you guys like to eat?jraf Me Jungleman! Gosia 0 #5 September 9, 2002 Sounds great... you are welcome to come by with dinner anytime. I love Italian;fettucini alfredo and ravioli Polish pierogis and chicken soup - can't go wrong there and Thai with an egg roll. French cuisine is very rich but delicious. Mexican I try to stay away from. My tummy just isn't happy with it.

Snowbird 0 #22 September 10, 2002 Oh yeah sounds tasty. I'll trade you for some of my 3 pepper pasta with chicken. Dice one each - spanish onion, red pepper, green pepper, yellow pepper Saute half of them until tender. Puree with two cloves garlic and some sundried tomatoes. Fry chicken pieces or prawns. Saute the rest of the veggies, with mushrooms. Add tomato sauce, parsley, basil, pepper and salt to taste. Add pureed pepper mix. Simmer all together with chicken/prawns until completely wonderful. Serve over pasta of your choice. Should be ready now. Good thing, I'm almost drooling now Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. jraf 0 #25 September 10, 2002 Sounds splendid. I bet a nice Chianti or Primitivo would be just the right thing with it. As to music - Italian food, Italian wine, Italian Opera. I think Rossini's "La Gazza Ladra" will do fine. Agreed?jraf Me Jungleman! Me have large Babalui. Muff #3275
