Due to the events that occurred on September 11th, 2001, our world has come together many levels. It's time to REMEMBER and to take a stand for peace and unity around the world. Skydive America has become an official Drop Zone to help promote a world wide record event for the largest number of first time skydivers jumping on the same day at participating world wide drop zones. The global goal for first timers is 5000 and also to raise a combined $100,000 for local and international charities. A portion of the money on every jump will be donated to the American and International Red Cross funds, who were there helping people in New York that day and who are always there in times of crises and need. Drop Zone’s in the United States, Europe, South America, Russia, Malaysia and New Zealand have signed up so far with many more signing each day. We ask you to come out and show your support as well as help in contacting any local media; newspapers, radio and TV stations and let them know about this World Wide event.
