xijonix 0 #1 June 27, 2013 Can anyone shoot me a picture and their experience of their W14 with a PDR 176 packed up? Ive got a Raven II in mine now and it looks overstuffed, but the PIA canopy comparison chart lists a Raven II pack volume at only 419 and the PDR 176, which sunrise lists as tight, at a pack volume of 447 cubic inches. Something doesn't seem right either with those measurements or my container. I'd appreciate any information
mr2mk1g 10 #2 June 27, 2013 I've a W13 that I had a 176 in. It was very tight and I switched it out once I'd found a 160. It did fit though. I think the W13 is essentially the same size reserve pack tray as the W14.

demoknite 0 #4 June 27, 2013 Ive got a W14 with a Smart 175 in it and it fits perfect. Not too tight, not too loose. Unfortunately, I am not able to upload any photos. In my senior rigger opinion you should be just fine with the 176.
gowlerk 2,216 #5 June 27, 2013 I have packed several PD176s and Smart 175s into both W13s and W14s. No problem with that. However, despite what pack volume charts may say, a 218 sq ft Raven II is larger. The charts are not always accurate for several reasons.Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free. likestojump 3 #6 June 28, 2013 I have packed two W14's with PDR176 and two with Raven1's. I believe RavenII would be noticeably tighter than a PDR176
