ernokaikkonen 0 #2 August 24, 2002 We talked about a similar pic(the same one?) a few weeks ago, and some of the more accomplished swoopers on the forums seemed to think that it's quite possible to pull off a landing like that(and not eat shit)... Actually I was just looking for a video-clip that would show a landing like that so I could prove my friends it's possible to do!Erno

freaksister 0 #12 August 25, 2002 Ya, I intend to! I just haven't learned how to use our film scanner yet. It is a unit that only scans slides and negatives. Perry hasn't shown me how to use it yet. I will probably have to figure it out on my own which is no big deal. In time I will get the goods for ya. LOL Maybe before the video comes out! billvon 3,009 #13 August 25, 2002 Steve Barker used to land his Stiletto like that - not quite drag one tip, but very close. I have a feeling he won't do that for a while though.
Viking 0 #14 August 25, 2002 i think he said he went up again last weekend but i dought he is gonna be doing hook turns for a while. For those of you who don't know Steve broke his left tib/fib while hooking it in some high winds and cought a rotor off a set a trees next to the landing area. lol funny part is like three days after it happened those trees were mulch! I wonder what happened to all those pictures they took. after they had him on a stretcher.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
