skybytch 273 #1 August 13, 2002 Being the alternate voice of WFFC is really fun. Manifesting the two no show aircraft wasn't really fun. Don was talking (seriously) at the staff party Sunday night... about buying his OWN 727. There's a new set of numbers out there - Numbers numbers. Currently only 1-6, but 007 has been promised to me next year... as long as I make it out to the numbers before anyone else does (shouldn't be difficult; I'm gettin' there on Wednesday next year ). The Liquor Locker in Rantoul did over $48,000 in business during WFFC. The mayor's wife walked into a restaurant in town one evening late in the convention and saw a group of jumpers. She was all set greet them correctly - then she saw the preacher and a bunch of churchy types at another table. So instead of yelling it, she said quietly "hey assholes!" Golf carts don't look so good after being driven through bonfires. Watching the tents come down and everybody leaving is kinda depressing. I'm glad it's over, and I can't wait for next year. Big hugs out to everyone I met, jumped with, partied with, hung out with, etc. Biggest hugs to Jack and Lynn for the dz.com tent (and a virtual smack to those who used it but didn't kick anything down to Jack to help defray the cost).
