Sassy 0 #1 August 22, 2002 I just did my first tandem jump on Monday at Lake Elsinore and it was totally awesome! Everyone there was great and I was not nervous at all. It felt like the most natural thing in the world to be doing I'm in Texas but was in California on business and had to do this without telling anyone on the family..LOL. They would have locked me up before I could leave the house. I'll be stuck between whuffo hell and blue skies heaven for awhile until I can take this further. In the meantime I'm going to lurk around here and learn some more bad habits if that's ok with everyone here Sassy

Sassy 0 #10 August 22, 2002 I'm in San Antonio. And I won't even make any comments about Houston Decided to do my tandem while in California just to get away from everyone. Told them all when I got home and has that been fun!!! But NO regrets!!! It was so worth it. Sassy
CanuckInUSA 0 #11 August 22, 2002 I haven't told my family yet that I'm a skydiver (my first jump was six weeks ago and I've done 24 of them to date). But I think I'm going to do a video skydive sometime in the not too distant future just before I go up and visit them in October. It should be interesting to see their reactions as I tumble to earth. By the way, welcome to the club. It's an addictive, but joyous hobby. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Sassy 0 #14 August 22, 2002 It would be impossible for me to keep quiet for 6 weeks about this, don't know how you can do that. But then again I just can't keep quiet period. But I have to admit that I did chicken out and told my husband on the phone from the airport yesterday, rather than wait til I got home....LOL I think eveyone in my business seminar. at the hotel, at the airport and on the plane and anyone I've been on contact with since Monday has seen my pictures...LOL. Too bad I can't carry a VCR and TV around in my purse...LOL. Sassy
