Skydiving T-shirts

So I was just wondering, with being a newbie and all. Will I ever get over the desire to wear my skydiving t-shirts all the time? Is this a dorky newbie habit? Will I always want to talk peoples ears off about skydiving? Does it ever pass or should I invest in a whole "skydiving wardrobe"?

I've already had one person ask me:
"Do you own any none-skydiving related clothes?"
I said, "My work clothes"
(or course, I actually now have one shirt that I can wear to work)

And be prepared, most of your non-jumping friends and relatives will some day ask you to shut up about skydiving. That's ok though, that's why we're on dz.com.

Eventually you will have a whole skydiving wardrobe anyway, and you'll get sick of it. It's a natural part of progression in the sport.

And that sure was sweet of someone to buy you a skydiving shirt you could wear to work...you should buy her a road atlas to show appreciation.

I bumped up the thread yesterday that explained the whole thing. (Weekend Numbers, Skymama was the author) He always promised me a road atlas since i get lost so often. Then he changed his story and said he wouldn't buy it for me unless i traded canopies with him. Well i traded canopies and still no atlas. Now he says he won't buy it for me til i give him my mini bag.

Speaking of t-shirts, I saw one at Square Three a while back that was like "mental disorders & skydiving" or something and on the back it had a top ten list of some sort with different mental disorders. Like:

Depression: It doesn't matter if you pull, it probably won't open anyway.
Multiple personality disorder: Have all of your personalities pull for you.

Etc. etc. I really wish I could remember the other ones. Has anyone seen this one recently or know where I can get one?? If so PM me. I'm kicking myself for not buying it before. I mean, what's more amusing than debilitating mental problems? Too funny...

Well - Back to the original post - people now know better thatn to ask me about the weekend, my collection of Harley t-shirts is slowly being replaced by skydiving t-shirts - Actually, I still buy Harley t-shirts, too, and wear them to the DZ - I wear Skydiving t-shirts to work. You will talk to anyone about skydiving any chance you get. There's a joke-

The nice thing about skydiving is that if you register for boogies...you'll never have to spend another penny on shirts for the rest of your life. Start off with the range of FreeFly and Swoop shirts, then there's the PoPs shirts. Shirts and boogies for all ages and sizes (S,M,L,XL...)

It does tend to become a wardrobe after awhile. (I think I'm still safe b/c I only have about half a dozen.)

As for talkin about jumping...I dont think I'm gonna stop that anytime soon. Heh,my family is like "Is there anyway we can get you to stop talking about skydiving?"
My response: "Sure,give me money to jump and you wont hear me talking about it b/c I'll be at the DZ doing it." hehehe! So far, that has actually worked and bought me about 5 jumps now.

All i wear is skydive tshirts(unless Im in the shower ..at work or at a dress up gig!)

I buy a shirt from each dz I go to. and two from this site. my favortie shirt is from skydive daytona. its got almost 100 jumps. it desperately need to be retired but It is SOOO comfortable.
beside the pen, and the hat that is my last relic of my HOME DZ!

I've had a DZ.com t-shirt for two months. It's already faded to a light blue color. Not that is cheap or anything. I've just had to was it about 6 dozen times already. Do I think it's not "cool" to wear everywere? No! I am by far the coolest of my non-skydiving woffo friends. I don't care how tired they are of seeing it.
