Uuummm...yeah....I have busted my ex-wife committing every form of perjury described in the Uniform Code Of Military Justice as well as the laws of Tennessee and Washington State. I haven't yet gotten anyone to give a shit. Oh yeah...and she was a convicted felon on probation when she committed these crimes. After the judge in one of my cases BROKE THE FUCKING LAW by not reporting these crimes to the DOJ I even rode his ass with an investigation. All to no avail. The Air Force just threatened me with renewed efforts to prosecute me. Lets not even get started with federal law enforcement officers lieing under oath. Bet your ass though....if I had even thought about lieing under oath I would have been slapped with a 5 year sentence in federal prison. Anyway....my point is......perjury doesn't mean shit unless you have particularly pissed off the judge or the DA.

Just to update...

I have a personal checking account. Credit cards are closed (with no sudden spike in balances). I'll be stopping direct deposits on my old account shortly.

So I think the financial angle is taken care of. Good call on the CC thing... I hadn't thought of that.

I'm so sorry to hear that Zen. Take some time, have some fun and be careful. It's hard to be tough when you need to when you still care about the person, but it will bite you in the backside if you don't do what's necessary. It seems to always get dirty at some point.
