Congrats on your FIRST (insert beer can opening sound here). I've heard that AFF will get you jumping solo really quick. Depends on how fast you want to go though, and how much money you are willing to spend. Your progression is not only dependent on your ability, but also on your relationship with your instructors. And instructors are suckers for BEER! So to get their attention, you know what to do... Glad you liked it. >i don't know if i should do the static line program or the AFF progam. >any advice? Both are good programs. SL is cheaper on a per-jump basis and will teach you more about canopy control and exits; AFF will teach you more about freefall more quickly. If you want to learn in smaller chunks, SL is a better choice; if you want to get it all done as quickly as possible (and you have a goodly chunk of money) AFF may be a better option. And about the whole drink becasue it is ur first...........i would be gald to ..............but i can't buy my own..........but i'm going to college in a week so i'll do it, it will just be a little late
 meatmissile 0 #7 August 14, 2002 Congrats! Whichever you choose, SL or AFF, just keep at it. With S/L there comes a time after your 15 sec alti awareness jump (Insert note here: I don't know what you'd call it in the States. Maybe the same) that takes a bit of determination to go through, but it's worth it. It changes your life forever. -- ZZZzzzz....
