greenlightgirl 0 #1 July 31, 2002 I would like to congratulate all of my fellow Cancer Survivor World Record team members and supporters. Thanks to everyone who participated and supported our efforts to bring cancer awareness to new heights. The event was set by Tony Albano to show all cancer survivors and those effected by cancer that LIFE DOES GO ON, and cancer is not always a "death sentence." I believe had I seen 24 cancer survivors skydiving together while I was undergoing chemo, I would have had that much more will to survive. Just to know that life is truly precious and worth living and fighting for! Again, to all the survivors, it was so wonderful to meet you, jump with you ,to get a world record together, and share such a unique bond of skydiving AND cancer stories....wow...and that all took place in Texas...where all stories begin with "No shit, There I was..." See everyone again next year, when we break the record we set last week. Be safe, be healthy, and be proud of your accomplishments.
