AggieDave 6 #1 July 18, 2002 Yup, I am, the Fed-Ex guy came by a bit over an hour ago and I've been wearing my new Bonehead Mindwarp ever since...atleast I took my goggles off. So here I am at the computer with a nasty nasty hangover (buddy's batchler party last night), in a cut off t-shirt, pajama pants and a helmet on... Bonehead redid how they have the external pouch (this is one of the old styles), its riveted on, not just glued and the securing mechanism is much much better, not just that velcro strap like the earlier ones.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." wildblue 7 #7 July 18, 2002 What kind of securing mechanism did you end up with? The strap with the two little rings? I have 2 Mindwarp - the first one I bought had that crappy velcro cover that never help very well. The second one I bought - the audible goes in the top or bottom, and two flaps go over it, with a quick-fastener (like used for chin strap) holding it all together. I like that - easy to get in and out and holds well. So my original (I bought the second because I was making my first into a camera mount) got the chin-cup put on - I cut off the chin strap, riveted it to the helemt under the audible pouch and created a hybrid new/old design!it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I just bought a Hurricane couple weeks ago and it took me quite a few hours taking it on and off to get fully situated on my head. Don't try and deny it people. Silly Skydiving Dorks!! Actually, just after I ordered my jumpsuit is when I broke my leg the second time. Needless to say it came back while I was still grounded.
