crwdog67 0 #1 July 18, 2002 I recently broke ankle and was wondering if anyone knew of any federal or state agences that might assist with income during the 10-12 weeks I am going to be off work. I did have medical insurance so a large portion of those bills covered but there are other lfe expenses that need covered. I was hoping that maybe someone has dealt with injuries more might have more information that would help me. Thanks
Shark 0 #2 July 18, 2002 Bummer. Sorry do hear that. You might want to check with your EDD to see if you qualify for benefits. You may also be eligible for some sort of disabilities, although not technically work related. Best of luck. Shark CCR-2113 CCS-xxxx
hottamaly 1 #3 July 18, 2002 I bought extra insurance that pays per accident, not per bills. Sure saved my a@@ when I broke my ankle, it's through Colonial. It won't help you now but you might think about getting some sort of additional insurance for the future. AggieDave 6 #5 July 18, 2002 If you were injured on the job, you should get some workers comp payouts, atleast you should if your employer has it.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
