Thanks for all the kind words

Recommended Posts

Hey kids, it's me. Jules has brought me the printouts off all you kind words and I can't tell you how much it helps. So here's the scoop: I ended up with several (7) broken bones in my left foot, four fractures in my pelvus, a break in the right hip socket, a compound fracture in the right humurous (sp?) and then broke every bone in my face except my forehead. It is my belief that my batrack saved my life in that respect. I have a total of 13 plates and about a half dozen screws here and there holding the whole me together. The nice thing is that there was no injury to my spine, backbone, or internal organs. IN essence, all the injuries are temporary and to answer the one million dollar question: yes, I willl return to skydiving as soon as it is possible. :)Thanks a gain to all for you kind words and prayers, every single one helped and counted. So, how is everyone else?

Drew!!! Welcome back to the fourms!

So... another question... was the camera running when the canopy collipsed to give you any good footage? ;) RealTV might be able to pay for a new helmet if its any good...

Welcome to the Heavy Metal Skydiving Club! Any mention of removal of the plates and screws in the future?

Yea, Drew!! That's the best news I've heard all day!:)
It doesn't sound like you will be able to walk near any powerful magnets in the future. Glad to hear you are going to heal and be back in the air.

Drew, welcome back! I'm really glad to see you're around again. Whether or not you skydive again, Alexander and I are both glad to know you're alive and healing and optimistic.

By the way, a few days ago we watched a video you took of us when you were teaching yourself how to fly camera. It's nice to have and might have helped a friend of ours decide to go jumping.

Welcome back to the forums, drew.

We'll be waiting for you to rejoin us in the sky, too.

Glad you're doing well.

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
