Cyanide41 0 #1 May 14, 2007 So I have my 50 jumps and water training. Now I need to take the written test. What should I be brushing up on? Some one was telling me there were some odd questions on the test. (ie. Plane is not supposed to go more than 25 miles from DZ.) So is there a study guide or something I should be taking a look at? TheBachelor 5 #2 May 14, 2007 Get a copy of the Skydivers Information Manual. If you don't have one, you can download it from the USPA web site. The SIM will tell you which sections will be on the test. Just read those sections. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years... popsjumper 2 #4 May 15, 2007 60+ jumps and you had to be told about the SIM?????????My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
mikecm469 1 #5 May 15, 2007 My brothers SIM didn't have the Appendix in there that tells you what to study. I'm willing to bet his wasn't the only one. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid!
BIGUN 1,297 #6 May 15, 2007 Some have interpreted the questions regarding the FAR's as "odd" questions on the test... People have a tendency to _skim_ the section on FAR's and not learn it.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
