smiles 0 #27 June 25, 2002 At home in B.C. Canada (Skydive Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Pitt Meadows) we have beautiful view of Mt. Baker, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island. Also travel to Kapowsin and view there is incredible(Mt. Rainier) Mount Baker (3,285 meters; 10,778 feet) is an ice-clad volcano in the North Cascades of Washington State about 50 kilometers (31 miles) due east of the city of Bellingham. After Mount Rainier, it is the most heavily glaciated of the Cascade volcanoes: the volume of snow and ice on Mount Baker (about 1.8 cubic kilometers; 0.43 cubic miles) is greater than that of all the other Cascades volcanoes (except Rainier) combined. JohnnyD 0 #28 June 25, 2002 Quote Brown Field - mountains where you exit, and the plane flies over the Pacific on the climb. Bill, are you feeling well today? Otay is far superior to Brown Field. There is a very valid readon its called Brown Field.

tigra 0 #30 June 25, 2002 It may be the boring old midwest, but if you get on load 1 at SkyDive Chicago and there is still mist rising off the river and pond, its really quite breathtaking. But I agree Sebastian is beautiful from the air. maura
Iflyme 0 #31 June 25, 2002 Well we have the beautiful Pacific Ocean in 3 directions, snowcapped mountains in 4 directions, west coast forests, farmland, lakes, hundreds of small islands, villages, a city of 300,000 ... the fellow from Texas who jumped here a few weeks back, who has jumped all over North America, said it was the most beautiful he has seen ... it's called "Beautiful British Columbia"! billvon 2,991 #32 June 25, 2002 >Bill, are you feeling well today? Otay is far superior to Brown Field. >There is a very valid readon its called Brown Field. Yep, but from jump altitude I still like Brown better - you can see the Pacific, Mexico and Tijuana are right there (really cool at dusk) and the mountains are behind you. If the question was "what's the prettiest under canopy" I would say Otay.
Stacy 0 #33 June 25, 2002 the ranch is nice in the fall, the mountains are beautiful.... I however think that Sebastian beats that- how many DZs have jumprun over the ocean??!! it's incredible!!!

ChromeBoy 0 #36 June 25, 2002 You are joking, right! Everybody knows that the most beautiful dz is on Chromedome! Just look at my planet! http://www.chromeboy.com/Media/globe_spin.gif You have to be careful of our moon though. As you can see it is fast a dangerous. You have to time it just right. I think I will host a "New DZ.com Forum Layout Party" on ChromeDome. You have to provide your own transportation to space though. I think some musician is coming for like $20 million. I will pick you up in my decked out ChromeUFO (Looks like a decked out CASA only round and has a mushroom head like a penis but it's made out of Chrome) and we will high tail it to ChromeDome. I will let you jump out before we land sound your first time landing on ChromeDome will be under your canopy. We have gravity too and oxygen to boot! the women here are beautiful and everything is just Chromie so PM me anytime your in space and I will pick you up!!!!! JohnnyD 0 #37 June 25, 2002 >you can see the Pacific, Mexico and Tijuana are right there (really cool at dusk) Have to agree with you there. I took Keith on a two way head down night jump and it was the most spectacular thing. Tijuana lit up the shield on his full face helmet like nothing I've ever seen. As if getting Keith on his head at night wasn't enough

Beautiful green trees dotted by little lakes all around. Beautiful warm blue skies and across the gulf you could almost see St. Petersburg, Russia! I couldn't take pics from altitude, though. hohonukai 0 #48 June 26, 2002 Please view attachments. My humble opinion. But any dz with a sunset or sunrise is awesome. (edited to say "Not the best quality pictures, it's better when you're in under canopy/freefall. ")
swampy 0 #49 June 26, 2002 It's gotta be the Queenstown dropzone, in New Zealand. It's right next to the Remarkables mountain range, 6000k high, you freefall past the peaks.
