ShortBus 0 #1 June 19, 2002 This weekend has had its ups and downs. A good friend at the Dz was hurt after having a Mal and flaring his reserve to high he landed on his back and his cypress box hit his spine and he broke his T-7 he'll be out for 3 month which is unfortunatley boogie and Nationals. So speedy recovery for him. He posted on here occasionally as JayBird. Also, as far as i go My Truck broke down so ive been stranded at the DZ all week it hasnt been to bad since im a packer im making money to pay for the repairs, but damn my hands hurt. I also cutaway from a relationship that was going quite well im not sure why i cut away from a perfectly good canopy. I feal like shit because i hurt someone i care about. But i am single so if any ladys are coming to Richmond dont be a stranger. Guys any words of support would be really great right now im fealing kind of down.Blue Skys,Dan"would you rather have beer or total happiness in your life?" "hmmm what kind of beer?" Homer j..... ShortBus 0 #3 June 19, 2002 Things looked good, but I just had this fealing. She was sucking me into this serious relationship that i didnt want. She had plans for a house and this and that i had to chop away.....Maybe i downsized to quickly"would you rather have beer or total happiness in your life?" "hmmm what kind of beer?" Homer j..... It could be difficult to tell the difference, and you are burning altitude the whole way. Justin
TequilaGirl 0 #5 June 19, 2002 So how long did you date this woman - that was sucking you into a "serious" relationship...........
ShortBus 0 #6 June 19, 2002 almost a year...Im not really known for having long relationships...I've been meaning to cutaway for a while but i could find the balls to do it, then i just kinda realized the longer i wait the worse it would get...Cha-chink"would you rather have beer or total happiness in your life?" TequilaGirl 0 #9 June 19, 2002 If you dated her for a year - you might want to change your terminology - she didn't suck you in - you lead her on.....I to honest - I don't feel a bit sorry for you.........

Lindsey 0 #16 June 19, 2002 Another girl perspective.....I don't believe that long-term relationship necessarily means gotta get a house and plan the rest of our lives together. If you did things to make her believe that's what you wanted, then yeah, you led her on. If you were clear that you weren't wanting that kind of a committment, but enjoyed hangin' with her, then you didn't lead her on, IMHO. Sorry you're down in the dumps, though....Peace~LindseyYa' know Smack-water Jack he bought a shotgun'cause he was in the mood for a little con-fron-ta-tion

I'd be out quite a few houses if that were the case.I know how you feel man....now's not the time to even discuss this stuff with women. Find some buds to hang out with and stay away from the bitc..errr, fairer sex for awhile. You did the right thing by breaking it off when you recognized that there were serious incompatabilities, if you hadn't, then you would have been leading her on.cielos azules y cerveza fría-Kevin
ShortBus 0 #20 June 19, 2002 Tequila in my own defense i didnt lead her on to make her belive i wanted something like a house and 2.5 kids and the american dream. I told her im not looking for something serious, so last month she starts talking about our future and "our" house i really did care about this girl and thought maybe things might work out so i tried to do everything right. I in no way hinted in the beginning or any other time that i wanted something serious she just brought it up so i explained to her i wasnt ready for that and she got all upset. Im kinda young and im not real good at approaching things i did it the best way i knew how.. so why dont you just get off my ass?Grrrr"would you rather have beer or total happiness in your life?"
