Jumperpaula 0 #27 June 18, 2002 Quote Oh, and I saw Freaksis, I hadn't seen her in forever. I finally got to meet her myself. April, your a chatty little thing, and very sweet. Thanks for coming out and Im glad we put two and two together and figured out the screen name thing. It was fun to meet you.....and what a great pond swoop Perry had. Come back soon!! GO on GO, and Present
TequilaGirl 0 #28 June 18, 2002 .....and Freaksis will you please thank Perry again for letting me use his extra canopy.........
freaksister 0 #29 June 18, 2002 Ya'll are all so sweet!!I got to use Perry's PC9 and still camera the whole weekend since for once he was a participant not a video guy so I am going to post some of the cool photos if they turn out. The still photos are not ready until Friday (I refuse to pay for one hour dev.) and I am going to attempt to FireWire the video I took and possibly edit it with Adobe Premiere tonight. Although, the video editor himself is asleep and I am drinking wine (which always gets me in trouble!!) so I may not get much posted. Eric if you are around you might tell me how to edit the video I took using Premiere and use this program called "Acid Music" to edit with music. otherwise ya'll are going to just get stills from me, or much better video footage/still photos from the actual photographers who were there.Tequilagirl, sorry about your canopy, girl! I sure hope PD can fix it. Paula, you ROCK! You and Krista are like, my superwoman girls! If I could move, I would move to Houston - but alas, no such luck soon.AGGIEDAVE!!!!!!!! You look good with facial hair. Thank God you are out of the Cadet Core and can do what you want. Malachi (Flyingferret) looked good and his girlfriend looked BETTER THAN EVER!!! :) hehehehe evil grin What a sweet thing. glad they are still together. PS - Dave, your friend Elizabeth, from Aggieland, can you help us swap names and numbers? I think I gave her my business card but not sure. She was way cool. Perry and I want to come visit ya'll down there as soon as we can - which is probably ages. LOLHUGS,SisWasting away again in Margaritaville....
freaksister 0 #30 June 18, 2002 PS and to everybody, Paula was correct. The largest formation built this weekend was 119. There was *one* person low/not docked. WOW. But the formations were beautiful from the ground, and I have seen some aerial photos as well thanks to the video guys and J. Schrimsher and they were REALLY beautiful from above too!! This should make everyone appreciate FS (RW) regardless of your discipline. Spaceland and all the other people putting blood, sweat, and tears into this thing truly DID make it a success, regardless of whether they made the actual number of 120 or not. Think of what they learned. What an experience.Ohhhh, Paula was right. I sure am chatty. OK - shutting up now.Luv,SisWasting away again in Margaritaville.... gemini 0 #33 June 19, 2002 And what generosity!!! Since the last formation did not happen, Spaceland has to refund the remaining TSR jump fee to all participants. But ...the jumpers wouldn't hear of it. Mary SantAngelo proposed that the remaining fee be donated to Jump for the Cause and others wanted to donate the fee to the DZO in appreciation of all he did for them. You guys are the best!Blue Skies Gemini... Let go dude! I can't land with you hanging on!...
hookit 0 #34 June 19, 2002 QuoteWhich Eric are yall talking about? Butts?Eric Butts showed up Sunday (not sure if he was there Saturday) and did some pond swooping. The spectator area was right by the pond so they really got a kick out of watching people swoop the pond and ditch. He had a couple of really nice surfs. Jumperpaula 0 #35 June 19, 2002 And to top it all off, I just got word that Spaceland will offer free jumps to all Texas State Record Volunteers on Wendsday, June 19th, 2002 from 4pm to 8pm.
