scottbre 0 #1 June 12, 2002 I've been thinking about it, and for the 40 (give or take) bucks it costs to spend a day at an amusement park riding rollercoasters and various other rides, it's definately worth the 2 or 3 jump tickets that that money might have bought.I won't say that rollercoasters are more fun than skydiving or vica versa. They are completely different animals. But I don't think that my enthusiasm and enjoyment of rollercoasters has diminished as a result of taking up skydiving. My willingness to pay 8-10 bucks for movie has though. Any thoughts/flames?The 4th paperclip didn't say much, but I could tell that it was still the smartass of the bunch... ShortBus 0 #3 June 12, 2002 i still find roller coasters fun and 40 bucks for a day of fun isnt bad considering 40 bucks at the dz can be gone within an hour. I think its kind of funny how they have a ride in the back called the "Ripcord" and it cost more then a jump ticket, its fun but id rather pay the 20 for the jump. I have mixed fealings i guess. They're both fun for different reasons, oh yeah waiting in line for 2 hours sucks i say screw that part.the Flatbread sandwich thingys ant McDonalds are pretty good i just tried one. Variety and opennes to experience is what gets me going. I like doing different things. No matter how much I skydive, I can't get bored with it, but I can get bored with myself. Our lives are short. Experience everything you can, even if it does cost some money. Relationships are just as importatn as anything else in life. mountainman 0 #5 June 12, 2002 Its kind of humerous how people want to do other "adrenaline" activies and then they always relate it to how many jump tickets and then have to say that it isn't as good. That is great! Just goes to show how fun this sport is.JumpinDuo.com...news, pictures, skydiving and links.

Skydiving has been the most eye-opening, greatest thing I have ever done, and completly changesd me as a person in my opinions and in my outlook on life and others in general.----------"The greatest trick the devil ever pulled, was convincing the world he doesn't exist!" The safety-saints in Washington have now set their sights on roller coasters. No kidding, however, I they will discover upon closer inspections that rollercoaster builders and owners are already very self regulation, and additional legislation probably wouldn't help anything. The 4th paperclip didn't say much, but I could tell that it was still the smartass of the bunch...
