Rainmagnet 0 #1 June 12, 2002 Was visiting a friend yesterday and he received call that 2 jumpers had colided on finals and were dead at Texel?Story goes they hook-turned into each other and were two members of a team.Dont want to spread rumours (and this one is friend-of-a-friend) but I'm looking for better info as I know people who jump there? BPO 0 #2 June 12, 2002 The story is (partially) true... unfortunately. The two guys were both members of a 4-way RW-team training for an upcoming event. They were'nt members of DZ Texel, they were both member of DZ Hilversum (PCMN). The two colided with another at about 100ft height. It is unknown what actually caused this accident, but the lesson learned is: be careful during the entire jump, the jump isn't over until you start packing your rig.Blue skies..
