Distortion with full face helmets?

I've been looking a lot at the differences in the full face helmets. I'm really looking at the G3, but just wondering if there is a lot of distortion in the visor. My main reason for a full face is so I can wear my glasses but don't want to misjudge distance because of distortion.
I also want something light but don't see weights list for the helmets.

I wear powerful spectacles inside my G3 and I have NO distortion problems. I love my G3. My wife loves her G3. My favorite tunnel coach loves his G3. Both my wife and I have taken blows to the helmet which should have hurt us but didn't.

I find the g3 light even with a go-pro on top of it.

I didnt use the measuring chart I tried on a couple of my friends to get the sizing right. If you know of anybody at your dz with them id ask them to try theirs on.

Never buy a helmet without trying it on first... goes for skydiving, motorcycles, whatever.

If you can't, make sure the return policy allows for swaps for incorrect sizes without some sort of punitive charges other than shipping costs.

Yes it did. But if for some reason yours feels funny or really has some pressure points, give it a couple of days before you return it. (If it does go back then the 50 bucks for postage is well spent, if you can't find someone else's to try on. Or you can order 2 different sizes and then return just the one as an idea??) They do kind of change after a bit. Not sure if it's just that you get used to it or what. But for the first few times it does feel a little funny putting it over your head. But you get used to that very quickly. I've also found the distortion to be less with the G3, but that has been an issue with some other helmets mostly in the past. And for the sake of clarity there really isn't much distortion in the first place, you would be hard pressed to notice.

I know you didn't ask this, but here's the answere anyways: What happens if I forget to put down my visor after I exit? Well you simply reach up, when you have a moment and put it down. It really is a non event!! Awsome hu?

How sensitive are you to lens-induced distortion? If you throw on a $5 pair of sunglasses from the gas station, is it a problem? I can't really notice much distortion on the G3 - it probably is there, but I'm never trying to call out azimuths or declination when I'm jumping. The only time you will likely notice anything is when using your peripheral vision, but in that case your vision is only really good for motion anyways and not accurately establishing location/distance.

I haven't jumped other full face helmets, but I like the G3 and haven't had any issues with vision. Having tried on a couple others, I think the G3 has a great field of view and I don't feel as constricted as I do in my motorcycle helmet.

Be sure to check sizing. I am a 7.5 hat size and run an XXL G3.
