bananna 0 #1 June 10, 2002 I'm sad, along with my fellow skydivers because my home DZ is closing. Skydive Indiana has been my home for a little over 2 years now and I am forced to search for a new "weekend home." Everyone there treated my like family and that is why I feel "homeless." I know that there are lots of other great DZs and I will find another to call home, but I am still going to miss the place where I began. Not only am I going to miss having a DZ that I am familiar with, but I am going to miss all the people. I've been there with them through atomic sit ups, boogies, dinners at Arnis, century club, drunk moments (too many to state), pies, and so much more. I just want everyone there to know that they will be missed, and we need to keep in touch... I still believe I owe a case or two of beer. And, on a happier note, it has been a little over 2 years and I am finally going to hit #100 on my next jump. Thanks, Skydive Indiana for introducing me to the world of skydiving!!!!Blue skies & safe landings, Anna

scottbre 0 #3 June 10, 2002 Come check out Franklin some time. It's a good place with a good vibe. Ask Val about it. Sound's like we're in about the same boat (jump number-wise), I just hit 100 this weekend. Come down to Franklin and we'll do a jump together. This isn't the Cajun Chicken sandwich... freeflir29 0 #5 June 10, 2002 I didn't really want to leave Raeford when it was time to go....but as with most things it has enriched my life. It took a little time but I found a new home and a whole new group of friends. Change can be rough but most of the time it turns out for the better. "Here I come to save the BOOBIES!" I am looking forward to jumping with you guys again in the Chicago area soon. freefallin14 0 #10 June 11, 2002 "Hey Val would this Brett be a freak with a blue and white Wings rig."That be me. I had a great time out there sunday afternoon Chris, and I will most definitley be back. Was great to meet you and the rest of the crew out there. This weekend will probably be a no jump weekend due to flying commitments, but the rest of the summer is looking good for several weekend trips to kankakee. And the sunset load was sweet! See ya out there, and are there any other dz.commers out there?Bret
sunshine 2 #11 June 11, 2002 I spent a weekend at Skydive Indiana about a year ago. It was a great dz and will always hold special memories for me. I'm sorry to hear it's closing."You have not truly lived, til you've known someone worth dying for"
