I'm still indecisive between the bwm 325 wagon, the audi a4 wagon, and the nissan xterra. I can't actually do anything until I sell my prelude, which I need to do in Canada because it has Canadian title. First time landing in front of a crowd of a cool, applauding Amish bunchIt was one of those weekends where we all laughed non-stop from Sat morning till Sunday evening! I visited some friends up in northern Indiana and got to make a couple of jumps with them. They are the most wonderful people I have ever met (well, besides Sunshine!)I spent four years prostrate to the higher mind; got my paper, and I was free
indyz 1 #29 June 10, 2002 Quotesave up the the scratch for a new ZuteSuteThat's the question I forgot to ask! Does somebody at Sky Knights make those or something? Just about all of the RWers that I saw were wearing them. I even saw one of the JFTC suits; AggieDave and fellow members of Skydivers Against Pink Shit would have heart attacks if they saw it (not to mention the matching pink ProTec with those streamers that go on bicycle handles).--Brian

Stacy 0 #33 June 10, 2002 64 kids at the camp I worked at:0:0After spending a few days with 64 kids from 4-16 years old i crashed this weekend. did some yoga, laid on the beach, and rented chick flicks from blockbuster with a friend, accompanied of course by sorbet. Was going to get myself back in the air Sunday morning with a beach jump, but they were cancelled for a few reasons liek winds going the wrong direction. Sunday ended up being pretty windy here. Hoping to get back up in the sky next sunday after my massage class ends.Stacyhttp://users.snip.net/~stacy
sunshine 2 #34 June 10, 2002 2(number of times i tried to call hot Pete):14:0I had one of the greatest weekends ever!! I think the load where i got us some major extra altitude was the highlight of the weekend. drenaline 0 #35 June 10, 2002 14 days without shaving (don't have time for that):2:0Trying to make a 2-way but I screwed up both exits and was flying with too much stress, gotta calm myself and fly my belly instead of flying I dunno what, unintentional freefly, I think am a natural back to earth flyer, kept doing that in both exits. Made some good landings, on the first one had to slide (10 feet slide I think) so I could reduce my speed and run it and on the second one tried to slide and run but my foot stuck on the floor and fell on my knee and hands."Life is full of danger, so why be afraid?"drenaline
PhreeZone 20 #36 June 10, 2002 8 pounds of weights needed under my camera suit to fly with a 6 way:10:0Nice slow, relaxed weekend finally. Made 4 Saturday, 6 today. Got in a freefly comp today and my team got third. I flew like shit for rounds 1,2, and 3. Round 4 ROCKED though.Shot some video of a flag trailing on a Stiletto 120 up close. Looked great! Flew a 3 way RW video that a quick 100 or less feet under me on opening and the jumper would have wrapped me... she got a talking to on tracking skills on the ground. Flew a 6 way video... a lot of fun. Learning a lot on my camera skills with help from the best we got for RW video on the DZ. Forgot to turn on my camera on a freefly dive that i floated on a bit. Did a coach jump today for free, 4 jumps in the comp and then am "Interesting" 8 way freefly with a 4 foot hulu hoop and my 24 foot freefly tube.... Can you see how this one could go bad? I'll post more details on this one tommorrow If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will.... ltdiver 3 #37 June 10, 2002 QuoteSo, what time did Jan call it a day?Too soon. Weather cleared in the early afternoon and there were still enough of us to keep back to back Otters running the rest of the day! Got six 4-way training dives done in 5 hours. Gotta LOVE my team!ltdiver____________________________________________LightDiverCam
gale 0 #38 June 10, 2002 Number of supervised pack jobs 5 : 2 : 1I graduated PFF this weekend!! I also did a five second delay from four grand. (This counts as "low altitude" when you've been pulling at 5,000 most of the time.) Both dives were beautifl and my instuctors put "great dive" in my logbook for both of them. It was a great weekend. My flare is getting better - slowly. I just wish I could sleep on days when I jump, I'm totally wiped...Gonna do it again tomorrow though!GaleIsn't life the strangest thing you've ever seen? Last jump (four-way with camera) our tailjumper fell off... we followed her out after about three seconds.. made a linkup and we screwed up again. REALLY GREAT video!! freeflir29 0 #43 June 10, 2002 0:4:0What a kickass weekend!!!! Brittany made it out Friday night. Saturday pretty much sucked because there was a ceiling almost all day around 2000-3000 Ft. It finally broke enough to fly one or two Casa loads in the last hour or so of daylight. Saturday night was crazy. Big party in the hangar!!! I have at least an hour of pretty incriminating video..... Sunday dawned a little windy but without a cloud in the sky. Did several nice jumps with Brittany. Too bad we were both pretty hung over and struggling a little.... I was just excited to fly with a chic that can fly head down!!!! That rocked. Shot video for a couple begginer free flyers. Filmed an experienced jumpers first tandem and got the coolest opening footage I have ever shot. Spun head down and then transitioned to my back as I fell away. Awesome footage. Almost got a balloon jump. After riding around in the chase vehicle for about 2-3 hours It just got too dark. For some reason the pilot didn't seem thrilled about trying to land in the dark. I had a great weekend overall and met a couple new DZ.commers although I don't remember all their screen names. Thanks for the jumps Brittany. You rock!!! "Here I come to save the BOOBIES!"
