PhillyKev 0 #32 June 5, 2002 Directly across the street I'm watching a crane remove the roof on the Philadelphia Academy of Music. Look over that to the Kimmel Center. Beyond that is South Philly. To the left I can make out the Walt Whitman bridge across the Delaware river and the route I take to Crosskeys.Oh yeah, and let's not forget the rooftop sunbathing deck on top of the DoubleTree across the street and about 10 floors down....hmmm, appear to be a couple hotties out there now...excuse me, have to go....cielos azules y cerveza fría-Kevin

BikerBabe 0 #35 June 5, 2002 Window? BWAHAHAHAHA! I work 500 yards under a mountain in a former nuclear weapons storage facility. I have cubicles...yeah, that's my scenery...Not only do we not have windows, when you turn the lights out, we glow. j/k, it's actually pretty cool, with a lot of history. I go to work each morning and it's like stepping into a time machine back into the 1950's. But still no windows. Hell, I don't even know when it's raining outside. AndyMan 7 #44 June 6, 2002 The view from my condo is unfortunately the Toyota dealershipa across the street. However, the view from my rooftop patio is a priceless view of downtown chicago. It's JUST base-able, too.The view from my new office (when I finally move in) will be the chicago river, lake michigan, and downtown chicago, all in one. Definately NOT base-able._AmICQ: 5578907MSN Messenger: andrewdmetcalfe at hotmail dot com AIM: andrewdmetcalfeYahoo IM: ametcalf_1999

wildblue 7 #46 June 6, 2002 Quotetoo bad you missed all the light poles and wires over that Grass Don....Actually, if he's talking about the "L" building (more of an "T" actually) near the river,it's pretty clean, except the pole on the corner. It'd be real tough to make it that far though.Your best bet (not that Ive though about this or anything) is to make a 90 right, and hit the parking lot that you can't see.Of course, there's that roof of the building across the street, but then you still have 2 stories to get down...Dogs don't know it's not bacon! Iflyme 0 #47 June 6, 2002 No windows nearby at work, but at home, I look south to see the Olympic mountains in Washington State... they are snow-covered year round, complete with ice fields and glaciers... looking west we see a forest (douglas fir, lots of undergrowth), east is a campus of a local college, although we have some big trees between us and the college, and looking north is a few houses, and lots more trees and shrubbery... The view in Vermont sounds nice!Pictures, anyone?"There's nothing new under the sun"
