thelonius 0 #11 June 4, 2002 i don't think that the law in south africa covers that specifically. they're quite behind on many things, and probably won't change it unless someone abuses the system. (it probably has been abused somewhere in south africa but just hasn't been a large scale fraud that makes it into the press)anyway, most competitions in south africa involve phoning into a competition line for which you get charged excessive rates for, and the company sponsoring the competition receives 70% (i think) of the income derived from all the calls. that's paramount to an entry fee.
