how do i tell the diff in ZP and f111?

dumb Q. but im used rig shopping, how do i tell the diff in the ZP and F111 fabric?? are there markings somewhere that i've missed?

its a 1993 PA Monarch. i emailed PA about the specs but no reply

Look up the canopy's specs... or touch it... almost everything is full ZP except the Pulse, Silhouette, and other old stuff.

Cut it and see if it frays

If it's a old worn ZP parachute it can be hard to notice the difference by shaking, packing or feeling it.
Old worn ZP will not be ZP, it will let air through.

So?
Is the question for "just knowing" or safety?
If i's because of safety and you want to know how much you can load the canopy or how old it is?

Try packing it and see how it feels, is it slippery, does it hold air, etc.


But if you only want to know what fabric it is you can most of the time see the difference.
ZP has a square pattern that is easy to see.

Could you perhaps update your profile information, I'm a little concerned that your wing loading says 0.1 or am I missing something?
